Job Description:
CNA nursing professionals work under the close supervision of registered nurses. They are tasked to provide care and keep patients comfortable.
Their general duties and responsibilities include the following:

Work Environment:
CNA nursing professionals generally work 40 hours a week, from Monday through Friday, with occasional night or weekend work. Education and Training Requirements:

A typical CNA course program can be completed within 6 to 12 weeks. Some nursing care facilities are also offer CNA nursing trainings that usually last from one week to three months.
Aspirants need to satisfy at least 72 hours of CNA training, which include 16 hours of supervised clinical experience. The classroom instruction of Nursing Aide programs typically includes the following:
- anatomy and physiology
- basic nursing skills
- nutrition and infections control
CNA nursing graduates must be able to pass the state licensure exam before they can practice legally.
